Imaging the Word — an arts and lectionary resource. Volume 1. (Kenneth T. Lawrence ed., Jann Cather Weaver, Rother Wedell, Cleveland, Ohio: United Church Press, 1994). There are three volumes in this series, each with different contributors. Each volume takes a section of the 3-year lectionary and provides a series of images, readings, poems etc for each of the Sunday themes. Unfortunately each volume crosses over two of the Lectionary years. Volume 1 covers Pentecost 15 Cycle B to Pentecost 12 Cycle C, Volume 2 covers Pentecost Proper 17 Cycle C to Pentecost Proper 16 Cycle A, and Volume 3 from Pentecost Cycle A Proper 17 to Pentecost Cycle B Proper 17. The editor and writers for Volumes 2 and 3 are Susan A Blain, Sharon Iverson Gouwens, Catherine O’Callaghan, and Grant Spalding. Same publisher.

Labyrinth
Exploring the Labyrinth: a guide for healing and spiritual growth, (Melissa Gayle West, New York: Broadway Books, 2000). Very good book based on the Cretan Labyrinth.
Multi Sensory Prayer, (Sue Wallace. Bletchley: Scripture Union, 2000). Sue gives an excellent pattern for drawing a Chartres labyrinth.

Walking a Sacred Path, (Lauren Artress, New York: Riverhead Books,1995). The original, but no longer the most useful. Good for the history of the Labyrinth.
